State Police Troop say Barbara A. Daderko, 56, of Nesquehoning, was driving a 2009 Subaru Impreza when it struck a deer just after 7 a.m. on Oct. 13 along Route 100, Lowhill Township.

According to police, Daderko, who was southbound on Route 100 at Hollenbach Road, could not stop her car in time and struck the deer in the roadway, before coming to a controlled rest on the southbound shoulder.

Police say Daderko, who was wearing her seat belt, was uninjured.
