Pink-out shirts on sale now
The date for the pink-out football game has been changed to Friday, Oct. 31. The pink out T-shirt sale has also been extended to Friday, Oct. 17. The cost of a shirt is $15 and they are available in adult S, M, L, XL and 2XL. Money must be turned in no later than Friday, Oct. 17. Checks should be made payable to CHS Student Council. Please note if you have already submitted an order, there is no need to resubmit, just turn in your money. All new orders should be emailed to Miss Rader and the money turned into Mrs. Sziy.

PSAT testing is available for all Catasauqua High School sophomores and juniors on Saturday, Oct. 18, in the cafeteria. Students must register ahead of time. The deadline for registration is today, Thursday, Oct. 16, at noon. You must turn in your permission slip and a $20 cash registration fee to the guidance office.
Students should arrive for the test between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. Please bring ID with you. The start time for the test is 8 a.m. and will end at approximately 11 a.m. Make sure your transportation is at the school by 11 a.m. If you have any questions, contact the guidance office at 610-697-0123.

The junior class is currently selling Yankee candles as a fundraiser to help with prom expenses. All orders should be returned no later than Oct. 20 so delivery of the candles can be received before Thanksgiving. If you are interested in purchasing a candle, see any member of the junior class.

Congratulations to the following freshman students who were elected 2018 class officers: President Alexia Reichl, Vice President Megan Nyce, Secretary Mitchell Phillips, Treasurer Makenzie Bradley and Historian Kelly Slotcavage. The first class officer meeting will be held today at 2:50 p.m. in room C220. There is still time to sign up for the Class of 2018 officer support staff. See Ms. Petrucci if you are interested.

Any senior interested in applying to Kutztown University will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions representative in the guidance office in November. During this visit, the representative will complete the application process and waive the application fee for students who meet with her. She will be able to confirm acceptance to the university at that time. If you are interested, sign up in the guidance office no later than Friday, Oct. 17.

Representatives from the following colleges, universities and business or trade schools will be meeting with any interested juniors and seniors in the guidance office conference room: Arcadia University on Wednesday, Oct. 22, and Eastern and Wilkes universities on Monday, Oct. 27.

Any student interested in attending the Varsity "C" club's trip to New York City on Friday, Nov. 28, should see Mr. Snyder in the guidance office to sign up and get a permission slip. The cost of the trip is $60 and you must sign up before Friday, Oct. 31.
