Morgenland Union Church, Orefield, is hosting a fall festival 3 p.m. Oct. 26. Costumes are optional but encouraged. Prizes will be awarded to the cutest, scariest and most original costumes.

Festival-goers can also take part in tasty treats, hayrides, fellowship and special screening of "Hocus Pocus," a 1993 horror comedy starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as a family of witches, known as the Sanderson Sisters.

Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Bring a covered dish or dessert to share.

Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, will be accepting donations to stock shelves 9-11 a.m. Oct. 21. Donations may also be made by appointment by calling 610-298-2054 or Nancy Holbrook at 610-674-2440.

Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Barbara Kistler at lowhillfoodpantry@gmail.com. The pantry needs boxed cereal, canned tuna and chili, hearty soups, household cleaners, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, laundry detergent, tea bags, coffee and pet food. Monetary donations are used for purchasing milk, eggs and meat.

Just a reminder… Northwestern Lehigh's Trick-or-Treat Night is set for 6-8 p.m. Oct. 25. Tell your little zombies, minions and princesses to get their costumes ready and reinforce their candy bags!
