North Catasauqua's fall festival, The Best of North Catasauqua Autumn-fest & Car Show, will open at noon Sunday at the North Catasauqua Park. It offers an afternoon of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Car show entries are still being accepted. On the day of the show, cars may register until noon, for a $12 entry fee. At the car show, donations will be accepted for Toys for Tots. Unwrapped toys and monetary donations are appreciated.

Area residents attending Autumnfest are being asked to bring a donation of nonperishable food to the festival to help stock the shelves of the Catasauqua Community Food Bank. Volunteers at the food bank report they are currently serving 500 families. With supplies running low, families have been limited to only one food bank visit each month. Food items will be collected at the park pavilion.
