Area graduate completes leadership training

Nathan Rector, an Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadet at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, recently completed a cadet troop leader training assignment.

The training program allows Army ROTC cadets to experience leadership in Army units throughout the continental United States as well as overseas, where they serve in lieutenant-level positions for three or four weeks.

Rector, son of Janice Dematto of Allentown, is a 2011 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.
