Theft from motor vehicle

Reported in the 4300 block of Commonwealth Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors removed coins from a vehicle between 10 p.m. Sept. 14 and 7 a.m. Sept. 15.

Reported in the 5500 block of Spring Ridge Drive East, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took a purse and wallet from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway outside a residence between 5 p.m. Sept. 12 and 7 p.m. Sept. 13.

Criminal mischief

Reported in the 7100 block of Tuscany Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged several mailboxes between 6 p.m. Sept. 21 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 22. The investigation continues.

Theft

Reported in the 3000 block of Main Road East, Upper Milford Township, unknown actors took an All Power brand 6,000 watt generator between 2:30 and 6 p.m. Sept. 21. The generator was valued at $750. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.

Reported at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors took a bicycle and backpack left in the parking lot between midnight and 2:30 a.m. Sept. 14.

Retail theft

A 32-year-old male and a 29-year-old female, both of Maryland, were charged with retail theft after they took 51 items valued at $365.24 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, and tried to leave the store, 1:43 p.m. Aug. 30. Both were transported to the Lehigh County Prison for processing.

DUI

Jeffrey Allen Yeakel, 60, of Emmaus, was taken into custody and charged with suspicion of driving under the influence after an alleged traffic stop on Brookside Road at Buckeye Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:45 p.m. Sept. 18. Charges were filed through District Court 31-2-03.

Criminal mischief

Reported at a park at Scenic View Drive and Stack Road, Lower Macungie Township, five toilets were smashed and broken in a park restroom between 11 p.m. Sept. 19 and 3 p.m. Sept. 20. Damage is estimated at $1,000. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
