Good Cause: 'Arts on the Move' LV music fund benefit
"Arts on the Move," 7 p.m. Oct. 4, America on Wheels Museum, 5 N. Front St., Allentown, benefits the Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association's Lehigh Valley Music Awards Scholarship Fund, which aids high school seniors pursuing a higher education degree in music.
Attendees will mingle with area artists while enjoying wine and light fare from the Starving Artist Winery. The first 50 guests receive gift bags.
Artists exhibiting work include Ana Hamilton, Tijasia Lett, Angel Perez, Femi Johnson, Jean Esther, Juan Carlos Ruiz, Raul Gomez, Wendy Smale, Stephan Mittl, Yesid Gomez, Kristen Barnes, Gloria Domina, Mary Pierce and Chris P. Jones.
Performing are The Sarah Ayers & James Supra Quartet with Andy Killcoyne and Mitch Shelly; the Connie Edinger and Tom Marchak Duo; and harpist Grace Adele.
Sound is provided by City Entertainment Systems. Artists are organized by Thirteen Butterflies Productions.

CROP Walk: The Allentown CROP Hunger Walk, sponsored by The Lehigh Conference of Churches, is Oct. 12. Registration begins at 12:45 p.m., St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Ott and Walnut streets, Allentown.
The six-mile walk with rest stops and "Golden Mile" walk begin at 1:30 p.m. Non- perishable food items may be brought for the Allentown Ecumenical Food Bank, which needs peanut butter, jelly and canned soups.
Church, school and community organization recruiters may pick up Recruiter Packets at First Presbyterian Church, Cedar Crest Boulevard and Tilghman Street, and the Conference of Churches, 534 Chew St.

"Field of Pink": In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Traditions of Hanover Independent Living is teaming up with Hanover Township for the Pink Ribbon Fund at Lehigh Valley Hospital Network.
"Field of Pink," a field in Hanover Township, is to be covered in pink flags, which can be written on, with the name of a loved one, or in memory of someone.
The event starts with a 5K walk, 10 a.m. Oct. 5, Hanover Township Community Center and concludes at the field, Maryann Land and Gwen Maur Road, Hanover Township. The walk benefits The Chemo Bag, which brings bags of comfort to chemotherapy patients.
"Field of Pink" is sponsored by Elek Plumbing, Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations, and Brown Daub Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram.
Flags can be purchased at Traditions of Hanover or at the Hanover Township Community Center.
