Emmaus Public Library will offer a brief introduction of genealogy with a special emphasis on Ancestry.com 7 p.m.

Sept. 25

Upper Milford Historical Society meeting 7 p.m. in the Upper Milford Township Building, Old Zionsville. The historical society will dedicate its quilt and members and guests will reminisce about attending one room school houses. Refreshments will be provided. For more information, call 610-966-4376.

The East Penn Chamber of Commerce reception 4 to 6 p.m. in the cafeteria of Emmaus High School to give the public the opportunity to meet Dr. Michael Schilder, the new superintendent of the East Penn School District. The reception will feature light refreshments. All are welcome to attend.
