The following area residents were recognized during an honors and awards convocation ceremony recently: Jason Klinger, of Allentown, received the NE Shoemaker Biology Teaching Scholarship; Jessica Fritsche, of Allentown, received the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Award; Caleb Jaquez, of Allentown, received the Board of Governors Half Scholarship; Jason Klinger, of Allentown, received the Students of Academic Distinction award; Brian Smith, of Allentown, received the Students of Academic Distinction award; Brian Smith, of Allentown, received the Richard G. Kokat / Andrei Georgescu Memorial Scholarship; Jamie Motsko, of Breinigsville, received the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Award; Daniel Johnson, of Macungie, received the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete Award; Devon Reinert, of Emmaus, received the Honors Program Scholarship; Jamie Motsko, of Breinigsville, received the Students of Academic Distinction award; Kelsey Buxton, of Emmaus, received the Students of Academic Distinction award; Samantha Lang, of Macungie, received the Students of Academic Distinction award; Jamie Motsko, of Breinigsville, received the The Rev.
