Hope United Church of Christ, 1031 Flexer Ave., Allentown, has named the Rev. Mia White as its new pastor.

Her installation is set for 1 p.m. Sept. 28.

White earned a Bachelor's degree from Cedar Crest College and a Master's of Divinity degree, with a concentration in formative spirituality, from Moravian Seminary.

White completed a pastoral care residency at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Before pursuing her calling, White worked in the criminal justice system.

She serves on the boards of Mosser Village Family Center and the Lehigh Valley Health Network Pastoral Care Advisory.

Everyone is invited to attend the installation service.
