Zion Reformed U.C.C. (the "Liberty Bell" Church) will hold an open to the public Colonial service 10:30 a.m. Sept. 17 at 620 Hamilton St., Allentown. The theme centers on the church's role as a hospital during the Revolutionary War.

The annual event is held on the Sunday closest to the date when the Liberty and 10 other bells were brought to the church to be hidden from the British.
