The Northampton Football Booster Club is sponsoring a designer purse basket bingo and Chinese auction that will be held on Sunday, Sept. 21, at 1 p.m.

Some of the purses featured are Michael Kors, Coach and Vera Bradley.

The proceeds will benefit Northampton football.

The high school's college and financial aid night is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, Sept. 11.

The event will be held at the Northampton Area High School and runs 6-8 p.m.

A program for parents of kindergarten students is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Strategies for Success: Caring for Your Little Ones will take place at the Siegfried building cafeteria from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Some of the topics being addressed will be moving from pre-k to kindergarten, helpful tips for parents, helping your child overcome school anxiety, tackling persistent problems, skills that are reinforced in kindergarten, how to study at home and more.

Children may attend because there will be activities for them as well. Registration is due by Friday, Sept. 12.

Moore Elementary Fall Picture Day is set for Wednesday, Sept. 17. Parents should watch for a detailed information packet being sent home.

All students will have their photos taken. Purchasing pictures is optional.

Washington's Crossing will hold Meet the Teacher Night on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Parents may attend from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

Back to School Night at the middle school will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18.

The ESL (English as a Second Language) Meet the Teacher night will be Tuesday, Sept. 23.

It will be held at the Northampton Area High School Library starting at 7 p.m.
