Where were you on 9/11? Today marks the 13th anniversay of the attacks on New York City, Washington, D.C., and Shanksville.
Some of the pain and sadness is still with the victims' families, so keep them in your thoughts and prayers. They can never forget.

The annual fall bazaar at Ebenezer Church, New Tripoli, will be presented 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 27.
The Women of Ebenezer are busy preparing a huge flea market, a kids' corner flea market, bake sale, book nook, crafts, quilting and a silent auction 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The kitchen cafe will be open all day for a light breakfast, hearty lunch and homemade soups and desserts.
Also, Ebenezer's clothing closet will be open from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11 and 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 13.
Free clothes are available for the entire family.

Jacob's Church, New Tripoli, is having a Loop the Lake 4.3 mile trail run Sept. 13. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
There will be a non-timed family 1-mile groomed trail fun run as well.
Awards will be given to the top male and female runners as well as top finishers by age grouping.
Each finisher will receive a food voucher for the church's barbecue dinner that evening.
Proceeds benefit the church's mission trip to Kentucky.

Renowned Christian recording artist Brian Campbell will be offering his inspired music and faithful testimony during a worshipful concert at New Life Church, 7 p.m. Sept. 24.
The concert is free but a love offering will be taken to support Campbell's musical ministry.
A special workshop, for a donation, is being offered to area worship musicians at 5:30 p.m., with the opportunity to share dinner and a question and answer time with Campbell and his band.
After the event, there will be conversation around a campfire.

Friedens Lutheran Church, Stony Run will have its annual apple festival, with food served from 2-8 p.m. Sept. 20 at 9727 Red Road, Kempton.
Apple dumplings, tarts, crisp, fritters, funnel cakes, ice cream, hamburgers, soup, fries, hot dogs, barbecues and other home cooking will be served.
"The Majestics" will perform classic country, bluegrass and other music 5-8 p.m.
The fest will take place rain or shine.
