A free information session on adoption and child foster care is being offered 6 p.m. Sept. 18 at Diakon Adoption and Foster Care, at The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 S. Home Ave., Topton.

Staff will explain foster parenting and the process involved in adopting a child.

Attendees also will learn about children available for adoption and the foster-to-adopt program.
