Public drunkenness

Traci Renae Wimmer, 46, of South Fairview Street, Macungie, was arraigned on charges of criminal trespass, harassment and public drunkenness after police received a report of an intoxicated female entering a residence along East Main Street 3:45 p.m. Sept. 2. Wimmer allegedly left after being confronted by the homeowner who did not know who she was.

While looking for the female, police were flagged down by a man who said he received a telephone call from his teenage daughter who was at their home along North Walnut Street. The teen told her father an unknown female came into the home, physically pulled the teen from the house and was currently on the back porch.

Police responded to the address where Wimmer allegedly was apprehended. Wimmer allegedly became combative with officers from the Macungie and Emmaus police departments and Pennsylvania State Police troopers who responded to assist. Wimmer allegedly was physically re- strained to be transported via ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest for treatment. Upon her release Sept. 3, Macungie Police allegedly transported Wimmer to Lehigh County Central Booking. The teen was not injured.
