Area students named to national honor society
Local residents are among those recently named to the national honor society Phi Kappa Phi. The inductees include: Ashley Labdik, initiated at Arcadia University; Hannah Symons, initiated at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania; Christine Mays, initiated at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, all of Allentown; Alyssa Romano, of Emmaus, initiated at Elon University; Mathew Sullivan, initiated at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania; Courtney Schael, initiated at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania; Mary McKeegan, initiated at the University of Delaware; Joanna Voortman, initiated at Villanova University; Joseph Funk, initiated at Villanova University, all of Macungie.
Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest honor society.
