PPL employees give donation to 'Miles that Matter'

Mollie Maher and her PPL Administration Contract coworkers teamed with a wide range of additional coworkers and raised $750 for the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund's "Miles that Matter" gas card program with donations collected this August through a fundraising effort at PPL.

Several years ago, Krysta Hankee, a Northwestern Lehigh graduate, died suddenly at the age of 22.

The Hankees visited PPL Plaza to receive the donation.

Maher and her coworkers asked the gas cards be given to families transporting children to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Bill, Chris and Kyle Hankee and Kyle's financeé, Cheng Tan, in delivered the donation in the form of Giant gas gift cards to Caitlin Mulligan, patient navigator, at CHOP.

With a little additional giving by the Krysta Fund, the total gift was $1,000 worth of gas cards.
