Burglary
A resident in the 1800 block of Piccadilly Circle reported 5:15 p.m. Aug. 22 returning home to find the back door of the home pried open, dresser drawers rifled through and a school district issued laptop removed from the home. Police are investigating.
A resident in the 1700 block of South Albert Street reported 1:03 p.m. Aug. 25 returning from vacation to find an unknown actor crawled in the home through a window and removed a Kindle, a folding knife and a jewelry box. The total value of items removed was $1,357.
Liquor laws
Police were called to a home in the 3600 block of Country Club Road 11:06 p.m. Aug. 22 for the report of loud music and found 10 youths aged 16 to 18 drinking alcohol.
Shots fired
Police were called to the 900 block of Glenwood Street 11:05 p.m. Aug. 23 for shots fired.
Police were called to the 1700 block of Paxford Road 12:41 p.m. Aug. 23 for shots fired.
Theft from vehicle
A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked at Cardiac Diagnostic, 1250 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 6 p.m. Aug. 23.
A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle parked at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 8:07 p.m. Aug. 23.
A resident in the 500 block of East Lexington Street reported 10:40 a.m. Aug. 26 an unknown actor removed a camera and quarters from an unlocked vehicle. The total value of the missing items is $150.
Criminal mischief
A resident in the 1700 block of South Albert Street reported 11:13 Aug. 24 an unknown actor broke the door handle on the driver's side of a vehicle.
A customer parked at Ross Dress for Less, 3300 Lehigh St., reported 4:06 pm. Aug. 24 an unknown actor placed two large scratches on the vehicle and left a note filled with expletives on the vehicle.
Retail theft
Jacqueline Lopez, 39, of Bethlehem, was charged with retail theft 2:21 p.m. Aug. 25 at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St. Lopez allegedly switched price tags on wallets, paying $11.98 for both when the two wallets were valued at $175. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Manuel Levonuk, 57, of Wyndmoor, was charged with retail theft, possession of an instrument of crime and disorderly conduct 4:05 p.m. Aug. 25 at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St. Levonuk allegedly placed T-shirts, a sweatshirt and Yankee Candle air fresheners in a bag and left the store. He was then confronted by police outside the building. The total value of items is $161.96. He was taken to Central Booking.
Theft
A resident in the 1700 block of Lehigh Avenue reported 5:45 p.m. Aug. 25 an unknown actor removed a basketball hoop from a patio.
One emission sticker and one inspection sticker were removed from a vehicle 5:33 p.m. Aug. 27 at Vinart Body Shop, 3115 Berger St.
An unknown actor removed a wallet from the purse of a cleaning employee sometime between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. Aug. 28 from Lehigh Valley Health Network, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd.
Domestic
Michael Huertas, 48, of Salisbury, was charged with harassment after an alleged incident 1:23 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 1400 block of Van Vetchen Avenue.
