Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley-Pennsylvania Youth Ballet holds an open house and registration noon - 4 p.m. Sept. 6, 7, in its studios, 556 Main St., Bethlehem.

Fall classes begin the week of Sept. 8 and include classes for all ages and abilities.

"Ballet Boot Camp" for ages 8 and up is 1 - 3 p.m. Sept. 6, 7. Auditions for for dancers age 8 and up for the Ballet Guild's Pre-Professional Division will be held during Ballet Boot Camp.

Prospective applicants and a parent or guardian should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time in order to fill out the audition form. Applicants should wear proper ballet attire and bring a full-figure 4 in. by 6 in. photo or similar size-snapshot in first arabesque.

Students have the opportunity to perform in the Guild's annual production of "The Nutcracker" at Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, and in outreach and education programs in the Lehigh Valley.
