Catasauqua grad is wed
Lynn Marie Yochimowitz and Robert Stephen Zakos, Jr. were joined in marriage May 17 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Catasauqua. The Rev. Gary L. Walbert officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Vincent T. and Ruthann Yochimowitz of Cumru Township, Berks County, formerly of Neffs, Washington Township. She was given in marriage by her father.
The groom is the son of Robert S. and Beverly A. Zakos of Catasauqua.
Matron of honor was Christine L. Riviello, sister of the bride. Attendants were bridesmaids were Lisha J. Yochimowitz, Michele A. Arbuthnot, Lauren C. Riviello, and junior bridesmaid Sofia S. Yochimowitz.
Best man was Jeffrey B. Everett. Ushers were Andrew J. Segal, S. Curtis Smith, and James E. Thompson, III.
Approximately 175 friends, family and guests attended a reception, dinner and dance at the Coplay Saengerbund, Coplay.
The bride is a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Cedar Crest College. She received her registered dietitian certification from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. She is a Food Safety Inspector for the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The groom is a graduate of Catasauqua High School and The Pennsylvania State University. He received a master's degree in social work administration from West Chester University. He is a Behavioral Health Clinician for KidsPeace Children's Hospital, Orefield, North Whitehall Township.
The couple resides in Bethlehem and plans to move to Catasauqua.
