Season tickets on sale now

The Catasauqua High School Athletic Department has announced that football and all-sports season tickets are now on sale. They can be purchased in the high school athletic office weekdays 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Football season tickets are $25. Adult All-Sports season tickets are $50; Student All-Sport Season tickets are $25 and families wishing to purchase an All-Sports Season ticket will pay $100. Golden age passes are available for school district residents age 62 and older. These passes allow free admission to all regular season home games. All season tickets are general admission.

Catasauqua Area School District families may apply for free and reduced lunch services online. According to the school district's website, families can create an account or log in with the customer personal identification number they received in the mail.

The online service will ask income questions to determine if the household's children can receive free or reduced cost meals in the 2014-15 school year. For more information, parents can visit www.paschoolmeals.com.

Student and staff picture day has been scheduled at the Catasauqua High School for Thursday, Sept. 4, for grades 9-11. Additional information including student picture forms will be distributed during homeroom within the next week.

The senior panoramic photo is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 4, at 8 a.m. Any senior with a late arrival waiver is reminded to report to the school by the regular start time at 7:40 a.m. and sign in at the main office.

Our fall sports teams are in full swing this week so come on out and support the student athletes and cheer them on to victory! Good luck to new football coach Phil Dorn, his coaching staff and the rest of the football team as they take on Bangor in the first home game of the season Friday evening.
