Zack Noonan of Kutztown was an integral part of Fort Lewis College's recent cycling success.

The college in Durango, Colo., was named the No. 2 USA Cycling Collegiate Division 1 team in the nation.

Noonan raced with the team for the academic year and participated in National Championships in Track and Road.

He was also an Individual National Champion in the Team Time Trial event.

Additionally, he was named to the Collegiate All-Academic Team for maintaining a 3.5 grade-point average during the spring 2014 semester while suceeding as an athlete.

Noonan's major is engineering.
