4th VegFest along Bethlehem Greenway

More than 50 vendors, speakers, cooking demonstrations and speakers are set for the Fourth annual Bethlehem VegFest, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Aug. 23, on and along the SouthSide Bethlehem Greenway, Adam Street to Taylor Street.

A free yoga class at 10 a.m. kicks off the festival.

Featured speaker is Gene Baur, president of Farm Sanctuary, New York, the nation's leading farm animal protection organization.

There will be cooking demonstrations of vegan recipes crafted from Bethlehem to Brooklyn and beyond and farm-to-table chefs at the Farmers' Market and Food Court.

Also, there will be pet adoptions available at the Animal Haven area.

And free music is offered all day long, as are children's activities at the eARTh Center and Veggie Kid Zone.
