Hasp broken
on fence
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say the hasp on a fence gate belonging to Malika Sadouq, of the 6300 block of Opossum Lane, Washington Township, was broken sometime between 8 a.m.-6 p.m. July 24.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call state police at 610-861-2026.
Police apprehend
driver
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Clifford J. Diefenderfer, 38, of Lehighton, who was driving a 1993 Dodge 1:50 a.m. Aug. 2, struck a utility pole along Madison Street, Lynn Township.
Police say Diefenderfer was negotiating a right curve when he apparently lost control of the vehicle that traveled 160 feet across a yard at 6562 Madison St.
Police allege Diefenderfer fled the scene after the crash.
He was apprehended and allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication, police say.
Diefenderfer was transported by Northwestern Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Charges are pending, police say.
Cars egged
along Apple Road
State Police Troop M of Fogelsville report eggs were thrown at vehicles in the 2000 block of Apple Road, Weisenberg Township, around midnight Aug. 10.
Stolen card used
to buy tickets
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say an APCI Federal Union debit card belonging to a Kempton couple was used to purchase $1,260.29 worth of Vueling and Iberia airline tickets.
The couple were reimbursed for the money, polie say.
Man taken
into custody
State Police Troop M of Fogelsville allege Luke Adam Bulmer waved a loaded handgun in a reckless manner at a woman and allegedly threatened to kill himself at 6:53 p.m. July 27 in a home in the 7500 block of Kings Highway, Lynn Township.
Police say Bulmer then fled the scene and was later found driving along Route 309.
A traffic stop was conducted and Bulmer was taken into custody for recklessly endangering another person.
Charges were filed before District Judge Rod Beck, Slatington.
