St. Elizabeth Regional School, Whitehall, will open its doors for the 2014-15 school year Aug. 25.
Sister Bonita continues to head the parochial elementary school as principal.
The enrollment for the coming school year is 176 children in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The student enrollment has been consistent over the past few years. The enrollment numbers could increase as opening day for the school approaches.
While religion is at the core of the educational program, the school has upgraded computers and its technology lab, which is now state-of-the-art.
The teaching staff has not changed. A new teacher will soon be assigned to teach sixth grade.
An orientation program is scheduled with an opening Liturgy program set for Sept. 5.
Back to School Night, popular with students and parents, is scheduled for Sept. 9.
