Hasp broken
on fence
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say the hasp on a fence gate belonging to Malika Sadouq, of the 6300 block of Opossum Lane, Washington Township, was broken sometime between 8 a.m.-6 p.m. July 24.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call state police at 610-861-2026.
Police apprehend

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Clifford J. Diefenderfer, 38, of Lehighton, who was driving a 1993 Dodge 1:50 a.m. Aug. 2, struck a utility pole along Madison Street, Lynn Township.
Police say Diefenderfer was negotiating a right curve when he apparently lost control of the vehicle that traveled 160 feet across a yard at 6562 Madison St.
Police allege Diefenderfer fled the scene after the crash.
He was apprehended and allegedly exhibited signs of intoxication, police say.
Diefenderfer was transported by Northwestern Ambulance Corps to Lehigh Valley Hospital.
Charges are pending, police say.
