STUDENT OF THE WEEK William Walsh

Q. What grade did you just finish?

A. I am a 2014 graduate of Salisbury High School.

Q. What was your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject was Honors Physics 2 with Mr. Koba. Our small class of 15 always made learning fun. The best part of physics had to be the turkey launch early in the year. I want to thank Mr. Koba for two awesome years as a teacher.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I received my Eagle Scout award in February.

Q. What extracurricular activities were you involved in, both in and out of school?

A. I was part of the Salisbury boys soccer team for four years, the track team for two and the tennis team for one. I also was on the freshman basketball team and managed the girls soccer team. I have been in Scouts for about 11 years and received my Eagle Scout award.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. Next year I will be attending West Chester University to study business management.

Q. Who is in your family?

A. My family consists of my mother, Lisa; my father, Frank; and my sister, Meagan.
