William F. Williams, 85, of Whitehall, died July 25, 2014, at home. He was the husband of Gail G. (Brown) Williams for 32 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Raymond H. and Olga (Frey) Williams.
He was a 1947 graduate of Allentown High School. He earned a BSME from Lafayette College.
He was in the U.S. Army.
He retired as a mechanical engineer from East Penn Mechanical Company Inc., and later worked for H.T. Lyons Inc.
He was a member of Dubb's Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown.
He was a member of the Nockamixon sail club where he won many awards and trophies racing sail boats.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, William and his companion Kendy of Louisiana and Jeffrey and his wife Barb of Bethlehem; a daughter, Pamela and her husband Tom Oechsle of Coopersburg; a stepson, Kenneth Schneider of New Ringgold; two stepdaughters, Debra Belick of New Tripoli and Terri Stubits of North Whitehall Township; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
