The public is invited! On Aug. 10, the Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will meet immediately after the 11 a.m. United Church of Christ worship service to take a day trip.
Car pooling will be available for anyone needing a ride.
Bring a friend or two and tag along to tour the Lockridge Furnace Museum, Franklin Street, Alburtis.
Before the tour, this busy bunch of retirees plans to stop first for a little lunch at the Starlite Diner, Route 100, Fogelsville.

The Germansville Fire Company will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2015.
If anyone has any articles pertaining to the fire company and would like to share them, copies will be made and returned to the person providing the information.

The flip side! Heidelberg Church's contemporary praise and worship service will resume 7 p.m. Aug. 13 in fellowship hall.
This special service features a casual dress code and modern music.

Spread the word! Hooks of Hope, a chapter of Crochet for Cancer, is looking for donations of yarn and knitted or crocheted items, such as baby blankets and caps, afghans, lap robes, etc. to give to children's hospitals and chemotherapy patients.
Call Heidelberg Church member Barbara Weaver at 610-767-3068 to arrange a pickup, if needed, of donated materials.

Time well spent! Heidelberg UCC member and soup kitchen coordinator, Howard Truitt, would like to share his tuneful talents with homebound church members by visiting them to sing and play various gospel and folk music on his guitar.

Heidelberg Church's No Limits Youth Group is open to children in sixth grade and up.
Meetings are 6 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month.
All children are welcome to attend.
