The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is issuing the Pennsylvania Dependency Benchbook, an updated resource used by family court judges, hearing masters, attorneys and child welfare professionals. It will be distributed at the Pennsylvania Conference of Trial Court Judges.

The updates include new laws, changes in court procedural rules and appellate court decisions impacting dependency proceedings. It has new sections regarding the termination of court supervision, family finding, father identification and engagement and incarcerated parents. There are expanded sections on visitation and support for older youth aging out of the court-supervised system.

The book will be available to the general public at www.ocfcpacourts.us beginning Aug. 1.
