Area students named to

Dean's list

Local students were among the more than 1,200 students named to the Dean's list for the spring term. These students are Anna Gasiorowska who is studying international relations, Kurt Keller who is studying history and Gregory Roman who is studying accounting, all of Allentown.

Area student earns law degree and honors

Alicia E. Emili, of Allentown, received a Juris Doctor degree and a business advising certificate in ceremonies May 18.

Emili was awarded an outstanding student service award, given annually to graduating students who have been actively involved in the Widener community and who have been of outstanding service to the school. Emili served as chair of the campus Wills for Heroes volunteer group, schedule coordinator for the volunteer income tax assistance program, liaison between the law school and the Dauphin County Bar Association and volunteer project chair of the Women's Law Caucus. She was a staff editor on the Widener Journal of Law, Economics & Race.

Emili is the daughter of David Emili, of Allentown, and Linda Cuono Emili, of Easton.
