The 16th annual Night in the Country celebration will be 4-10 p.m. on Aug. 16 at the Northwestern Recreation Commission Community Park, Route 309, New Tripoli. Rain date is Aug. 17.

Activities include a live country band, huge car cruise, DJ, Chinese auction, bingo, great food and activities.

To end the evening, a fireworks display is planned.
