The Lehigh Valley Sweet Adelines Chorus (LVC) is pleased to announce its Sounds of Summer Concert. This is a free and family-friendly a cappella concert featuring show tunes, ballads, pop favorites and more, all done in the chorus' award-winning barbershop style.

The event is 7 p.m. July 16 at Allentown's West Park at the Historic Bandshell, 16th and Turner streets.

The Lehigh Valley Sweet Adelines Chorus is an all-female a cappella chorus with a 55-year history, an affiliated chapter of Sweet Adelines International. The group is comprised of women of all ages who are students, professionals, community volunteers, retirees and mothers raising families. These lively singers are preserving the unique American musical art form of barbershop harmony under the directon of seasoned director Marilyn Block.
