Spider causes motor vehicle accident

Firefighters from Western Salisbury Fire Department and EMS personnel from Cetronia ambulance respond to a motor vehicle accident on South 24th Street just south of Lindberg Avenue recently. The driver of the Dodge Lancer was distracted by a spider in the car causing her to lose control sending the car and spider into the ditch on the right hand side of the road. The driver of the vehicle was treated by EMS crews on scene. ABOVE: Western Salisbury Fire Chief Josh Wells directs crews and stages equipment as firefighters check the inside of the vehicle.
