A Jedi training camp with Miss Alison for young Padawans entering kindergarten through third grade is being offered 10 a.m. July 1 at Upper Macungie Township Community Center, 150 Independent Road, Breinigsville.

Upper Macungie Township along with North Whitehall, South Whitehall and Lower Macungie townships will be offering several events as part of the Lehigh Valley wide celebration "July is Park and Recreation Month."
Adult basketball will be offered 6 p.m. to dusk July 3 at Ricky Park, with parking across from 5929 Clauser Road, Orefield.
Coed volleyball camp and coed soccer for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade will be offered 9 a.m.-noon from July 7-11 at Independence Park, Schnecksville.
A coed T-ball camp for children in kindergarten through eighth grade will be held 9-11 a.m. July 7-11 at the North Whitehall field, 3256 Levans Road, Coplay.
A baseball camp is scheduled for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. July 7-11 at Covered Bridge Park, 2465 Wehr Mill Road, Orefield.
A safe babysitter class is being offered 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 9 at 8330 Schantz Road, Breinigsville.
