St. Luke's University Health Network staffers recently visit Harry S Truman elementary to promote the wellness program "Get your tail on the trail." The program, in coordination with the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, encourages participants to be active during the summer. Participants track and log their steps with a pedometer. The steps count toward the school total which can lead to up to $500 for the school. The program is also offering daily programs throughout the summer to encourage healthy lifestyles with sessions on being physically active and eating healthy foods. For program information, or to register, visit www.tailonthetrail.org.
