Bethlehem couple celebrate

golden anniversary

Richard L. and Patricia J. Hoffert, of Bethlehem, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 6.

Mrs. Hoffert is the former Patricia J. Hoey, daughter of the late Edna and Richard P. Hoey Sr., formerly of Bethlehem.

Mr. Hoffert is the son of the late Hazel and Harvey Hoffert, also formerly of Bethlehem.

The couple was married at Calvary United Church of Christ, Bethlehem, by the Rev. Howard Walenta.

Richard, retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., is working part time at Apex Dental Laboratory. Patricia is working part time at the office of Dr. John C. Worsley Jr.

The couple has three children: Sherry and her husband Brian Dancsecs; Mark Hoffert and his wife Angela; and Tracy and her husband Kevin Groller.

They have four grandchildren: Jared and Jayden Dancsecs, Brandon Hoffert and Veronica Groller.

They celebrated their anniversary with a surprise dinner attended by family and friends at The Palace Restaurant, Bethlehem.
