Enjoy an afternoon of musical entertainment featuring the big band, Timely Tappers, Good Vibrations Chorus and the Lehigh Valley Pops Orchestra at Scottish Rite Cathedral, 1533 Hamilton St., Allentown. Event features entertainment from Lehigh Valley Active Life (formerly known as Lehigh County Senior Center), 1 to 3 p.m.; free to center members. There is a charge for guests. The Emmaus Flag Day Association will host the Borough of Emmaus Flag Day ceremony 11 a.m. in Emmaus Community Park. The highlight will be the reading by the fifth and eighth grade students of their winning poems and essays reflecting on "What the American Flag Means to Me." The Allentown Flag Day Association and the Great Allentown Band will commemorate Flag Day 7 p.m. in West Park, Allentown. The rain site is the auditorium of William Allen High School. The featured speaker is Rev. Robert T. Stevens, senior pastor at Zion's Church, Allentown. The concert is a free; a freewill offering will be taken to support the association.

Second annual 5K Run/Walk with your Doctor, Lehigh Parkway, 1700 Martin Luther Jr. Blvd., Allentown. Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association and a raffle donation will benefit veterans for the Wounded Warrior Project.
