Air Force Reserve Airman John Palencar and Air Force Airman Dylan J. Breese graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Both completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Palencar is the son of John Palencar of Northampton and son of Fran Mory, brother of Zack Mory and grandson of Salvatore Graziano, all of Allentown.

He is a 2009 graduate of William Allen High School, Allentown.

Breese is the son of Cathy J. Vas of Phillipsburg, N.J. and grandson of Donna Vas of Allentown.

He is a 2012 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, N.J.
