The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) recognized Northampton Community College (NCC) as one of six two-year colleges in the nation with the 2014 Education Fundraising Award for Overall Performance.
The award acknowledges overall performance and overall improvement in educational fundraising programs based on data submitted to the Council for Aid to Education's Voluntary Support of Education Survey.
This is the fifth time NCC has been honored for its exceptional development program with this award.
Winners are chosen based on solid program growth, breadth in the base of support and other indications of a mature, well-maintained program.
Colleges selected for the award this year also include Monroe Community College in New York, Northern Wyoming Community College, Northwestern Michigan College, Sandhills Community College in North Carolina and Tyler Junior College in Texas.
