Hello again! Starting June 8, Heidelberg United Church of Christ will have a friendship hour on the porch following the 11 a.m. service.

This hour of friendship will continue Sundays during the summer.

All are welcome to come out, visit on the porch and enjoy a special time of fellowship and food.

If you would like to host this gathering or bake something sweet to eat, list your name on the sign-up sheet in the narthex.

Heidelberg Township Environmental Advisory Council is hosting a plant sale in the township building parking lot, 6272 Route 309, New Tripoli, between 9 a.m.-1 p.m. June 7.

Perennials, grasses, natives and non-invasive species, collected by members, will be available for purchase.

Proceeds will benefit the EAC's various projects, including a scholarship program and riparian buffer planting.

The sale will take place rain or shine.

Center of attention! If you, your son or daughter will be graduating from high school, college or technical school this year, call the Heidelberg Church office at 610-767-4740 (UCC) or 610-767-1526 (Lutheran) and leave the name of the graduate and school from which he or she will be graduating. Include any special awards or recognition received.

Heidelberg Lutheran Graduate Recognition Sunday will be 8:30 a.m. June 15.

Heidelberg UCC Graduate Recognition Sunday is scheduled for 11 a.m. June 22.

Join both congregations and be recognized for your accomplishments.
