Student of the Week
Q. What grade are you currently in?
A. I'm in 12th grade.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. I would have to say my favorite subject is English. I really enjoy being able to put all of my thoughts onto paper. Having Mr. Vecellio as a teacher also makes the class ten 10 times more enjoyable.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I was inducted into Salisbury's chapter of National Honor Society my senior year.
Q. What extracurricular activities are you involved in, both in and out of school?
A. I've played soccer my whole life. I'm in student government. Through student government, I am a blood drive coordinator for the high school's blood drives. I'm in class advisory. I'm the vice Ppresident of the Class of 2014. I'm in National Honor Society. I'm a member of Key Club. I'm a member of S.A.D.D. I also have a part-time job at American Eagle Outfitters.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. I will be studying criminology at California University of Pennsylvania.
Q. What would you say your biggest challenge was so far?
A. Balancing all of my extracurricular activities with my school work was a big challenge for me.
Q. What do you want to be remembered for?
A. I'd like to be remembered for my personality. I enjoy making people laugh so I'm always doing something strange or "out there." I want people to remember my happy spirit and always smile when they think of what I brought to Salisbury.
Q. Who is in your family?
A. I live with my mom, Monica Ciliberti, my stepdad, Peter Ciliberti, and my seven-year-old sister, Gianna.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. I think the only advice I'd have for anyone in high school is to enjoy it, but take it seriously. It ends way too fast and I can't believe I'm about to graduate. Focus is really important, but so is having fun.
