Theft from vehicle

Ten gallons of gas were reported siphoned from a vehicle in the 1300 block of Byfield Street 8:30 a.m. May 19.

Criminal mischief

A resident in the 800 block of South Ott Street reported 10:05 a.m. May 19 a huge pile of tree stumps were piled in his driveway, allegedly by a neighbor. The neighbor was advised if he doesn't remove the tree stumps, he will be charged.

An unknown person used a BB or pellet gun to shoot out the driver side rear window of a vehicle parked in the 700 block of East Tioga Street. The damage was reported noon May 26.

K-9 assist

Salisbury K-9 patrol was called to assist the Upper Macungie Police Department 1:17 p.m. May 20 in the pursuit of a burglary suspect. K-9 Fonzie found the suspect behind a shed.

Theft

Allied Equipment Sales and Rental, 2937 S. Pike Ave., Allentown, reported 11:28 a.m. May 20, an unknown person siphoned diesel fuel from trucks on the property.

Allied Equipment Sales and Rental, 2937 S. Pike Ave., Allentown, reported 12:26 p.m. May 23, an unknown person removed two Kubota backhoe buckets valued at $450 each.

A resident in the 1700 block of South Albert Street, Allentown, reported 4:45 p.m. May 29, the theft of a burgundy Mongoose mountain bike from the patio valued at $200.

Dog incident

A water meter employee was allegedly attacked by a pit bull 11 a.m. May 21 in the 1300 block of Maumee Avenue. The dog tore the pants of the employee and attempted to bite him.

Retail theft

Richard Bruno-Viruet, 34, of Allentown, was charged with receiving stolen property and felony retail theft after an incident 6:07 p.m. May 26. Bruno-Viruet allegedly removed merchandise from Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown, multiple times and other property was found in his vehicle from a store in Bucks County. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Cindy Stauffer, 57, of Whitehall, was charged with retail theft after an incident at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown 1:58 pm. May 28. Stauffer allegedly removed several items from racks, went into the fitting room and exited without the items. The items were allegedly concealed on her person and in her purse. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Burglary

An unknown person crawled on the roof of a home in the 3000 block of Salisbury Hills Drive, Allentown, punched out a wall and crawled into the home. Jewelry, a revolver and other items were removed from the home. The incident was reported 11:50 p.m. May 27.
