Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network has appointed Ronald J. Petula, CPA, of Wallingford, as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Petula was promoted to the position from Vice President of Finance.

"Ron has provided strong financial leadership and has a proven track record with our organization," said John Kristel, MBA, MPT, President & CEO, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network.

Petula began at Good Shepherd in 1999 as Director of Finance. He then became Good Shepherd's Corporate Director of Financial Planning in 2002 and Vice President of Finance in 2008. Prior to joining Good Shepherd, Petula held financial positions at Easton Hospital, Pittsburgh Mercy Health System and Arthur Andersen & Co.

Petula will be responsible for the finances for Good Shepherd's Lehigh Valley-based operation and Good Shepherd Penn Partners, based in Philadelphia. He will oversee accounting-finance, information technology, materials management, health information services and patient financial services.

Petula received a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and is a certified public accountant.
