Adrienne Nichols, a freshman from Allentown, will perform May 10 with the Gospel Choir Concert at McDaniel College, Westminster, Md.

McDaniel College's Gospel Choir, under the direction of Shelley Ensor, music lecturer, performs a program of spirituals, as well as traditional and contemporary gospel music.

The program includes Hezekiah Walker's "This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ," Gamble and Huff and McFadden and Whitehead's "I'll Always Love My Mama," Keith Pringle's "Call Him Up," Pete Seeger's "We Shall Overcome," among others.

Nichols also performed with the College Choir April 27 in its presentation of "Make Them Hear You," under the direction of Margaret Boudreaux, music professor and department chair.

The concert featured the signature song, "Make Them Hear You," from the musical "Ragtime," as well as other pieces reflecting highly expressive music and poetry of all ages.
