Belle of the stage: The national touring production of "Disney's Beauty and the Beast" will be presented at 7 p.m. June 3 and 4, State Theatre for the Arts, 453 Northampton St., Easton. The hit Broadway musical features the animated feature movie's Academy Award-winning score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, with additional songs with music by Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice. "Beauty and the Beast" tells the classic story about Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. A discount per ticket, with a limit of four per household, is available to those who donate a "Book for Belle." Books brought to the State Theatre Box Office will be donated to the Easton Area Public Library. Ballet "Tribute": The Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley-Pennsylvania Youth Ballet (PYB) presents "A Tribute to American Music," May 31, Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, Bethlehem. The first portion of the annual spring ballet, "An American Portrait," begins at 6 p.m., featuring Community Division students, ranging in age from four to 18, and five adults in pieces choreographed by Artistic Director Karen Kroninger Knerr and Guild teaching staff. Dancers include Liberty High School senior Jenna DeVivo and Bethlehem Catholic High School senior Colleen Reed.
