On April 26, The Arc of Lehigh and Northampton counties presented the 2014 Sprout Film Festival, a critically acclaimed collection of films and videos made by, for or about people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The free public event took place at Moyer Hall, Muhlenberg College. Student groups from 15 local middle schools, high schools and colleges helped to plan the film festival by selecting several of the films presented. Each student group also submitted a poster providing a visual representation of the group's understanding of the true meaning of the films: inclusion, respect for people who are different and a celebration of human diversity. The posters were judged by a panel of community art experts who selected the winning poster. The poster judged to have the best presentation of the true meaning of the films was designed by Salisbury High School.
