Mark your calendars for upcoming elementary open houses. Gockley Elementary School will hold its open house this evening and Zephyr Elementary School will host its open house May 22. The open house times will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. at all schools.

School will be in session June 12 (early dismissal) and June 16 (early dismissal). June 17 is the student's last day, also with early dismissal. Teacher's will have in-service days until June 20.

The middle school will host a night of music Tuesday, May 20 in the high school auditorium beginning 7 p.m.

The middle school will hold spring parent teacher night Thursday, May 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The PTO will meet Tuesday, May 20 at 7 p.m at the high school.

Also, PTO Market Day pick up is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21 in the middle school cafeteria between the hours of 4:30 and 5:30.

Volunteers are needed for the upcoming Children's Days for elementary students. This is an annual PTSA sponsored event and is one of the children's favorites.

This year's themed activities are Disney characters. Students will be visiting a variety of activity stations and there will also be a moon bounce. The PTSA is currently looking for some volunteers of parents or grandparents to help with the stations.

Younger siblings may not be present with the volunteers, so arrangements should be set up for them.
