The Relay For Life of Upper Lehigh County will take place 4 p.m. May 16 to 4 p.m. May 17 at the Northern Bulldog Community Stadium, 1 Bulldog Lane, Slatington.

The theme for this year's Relay is "Colors Of Hope."

The public is invited to stop by and enjoy food, fun and games and learn how to help in the fight against cancer.

The seventh annual Native American Intertribal Pow Wow will take place May 16, for children from the Northwestern School District, and on May 17 and 18 for the public at Ontelaunee Park, Route 143, Lynn Township. Gates open 10 a.m. Grand Entry at noon. There is an admission fee.

The first Kempton Pepper Jam will take place from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. May 24, and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. May 25 at the Kempton Community Center, 83 Community Drive, Kempton.

This food festival will feature delicious creations made with some heat as well as a some choices for the "not-so-hot crowd."

More than 30 food vendors will have their hot sauces, salsas, mustards, jams, nuts, spice mixes, infused salts, dried pastas, coated nuts and pretzels available.

Ready to eat foods include jambalaya, gumbo, jerk chicken on a stick, noodles with a spicy peanut sauce, pulled pork, grilled shrimp, smoked brisket, as well as barbecue chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, and more.

Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry needs volunteers for stocking shelves 9:30 a.m. to noon June 18; from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 19; and from 9-11 a.m. June 28.
