LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Representative - 133rd District

Due to redistricting, as of Dec. 1, 2014, the 133rd District of Pennsylvania includes the city of Bethlehem (Lehigh County portion); townships of Hanover, Salisbury wards 1, 2, 3 (div 2), Whitehall districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 12; Boroughs of Catasauqua, Coplay and Fountain Hill.

Incumbent State Representative Daniel T. McNeill, Democrat, is running in the May 20 primary.

Q. Why should voters re-elect you to represent the 133rd district?

A. Through legislation I have supported, I have worked hard to improve the lives of every Lehigh Valley resident, from infant to senior.

Since taking office last January, I have supported bills that expand eligibility for Medicaid, legalize same sex marriages, develop the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Screenings Program, enhance the Newborn Child Testing Act, and make it easier for residents to vote.

I also refused to support privatization of state liquor stores, which will eliminate over 4,000 jobs in Pennsylvania.

With your continued support, I will further my vision to make the 133rd District an even better place to live, work, play and raise a family.

Thank you for your time, your confidence, and your generous support.

Republican David Molony

Q. Why should voters elect you to represent the 133rd district?

A. I have worked with people to bring legislation from getting differing groups of people to find agreement on the need and how to address it, through the State House and Senate and signed by the governor, three times. I know the people involved in state government, but most of all I know the people I will be representing. In the last election, I have spoken with over 5,000 people, door to door, and plan to surpass that this time.

I will get things done, working tirelessly for those I represent, not outside individuals or groups. Constituent services will be efficient and reliable. I will be your closest connection to the state government. That is the job, representing all the people of the 133rd District, clearing up their problems with the state bureaucracy. You can be sure that as a majority member of the Pennsylvania House, you will have a say in state government.
